Our Beliefs

We believe that the Bible was written by humans, inspired by the Holy Spirit and centers on the testimony of Christ (2 Peter 1:20-21) ; It is the perfect, trustworthy word of God (Hebrews 4:12-13). It was preserved by the Holy Spirit for our learning and edification, and is our ultimate standard for conduct, beliefs, and morality (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe that there is only one God, who has always existed (Deuteronomy 6:4). The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature or essence (Matthew 28:19).

We believe in God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1-2). He reigns over all creation with love, justice, and grace (Acts 17:24-29).

We believe the eternal and fully divine Son of God became human in the person of Jesus (Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is fully God and fully human (John 14:8-10). He is the true, clear and complete revelation of God (Hebrews 1:3). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18-25). He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died on the cross, atoning for our sins (John 3:16-18). On the third day He rose again, victorious over death (Luke 24:1-53). After a time, He ascended to rule with His Father in heaven (Ephesians 1:19-22) . He will come again to assume dominion over the universe (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully divine (John 14:16-17). His work entails conviction of sin, regeneration, and sanctification (John 16:7-11). He is our comforter, advocate, teacher, and guide (Romans 8:9-11). He indwells believers, empowers them to lead Godly lives, and gives them unique gifts to serve His Church (1 Corinthians 12:3-11).

We believe that humans were created in God's image, male and female, as the crowning work of His creation (Genesis 1:26-27). We were created to enjoy a perfect relationship with God and to rule over the world as vice-regents and benevolent stewards (Genesis 2:15-25). Every human being, regardless of mental capacity, age, gender, or race, possesses inherent dignity and worth (Genesis 9:5-6).

We believe that when Adam and Eve sinned against God, the perfect relationship with Him was broken (Genesis 3:6-19). Consequently, all people are born corrupted by sin, inheriting a nature and environment inclined toward sin (Ephesians 2:1-3). All humans have transgressed God's commands and therefore merited death (Romans 5:12-19). Only through His grace can we be restored to life, righteousness and relationship with Him (Titus 2:11-14).

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, applied to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8-10). God provided the means of salvation through Jesus’s death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). All those who accept this gift are adopted into God’s family, their relationship with God is restored, and they are sealed with the promise and presence of the Holy Spirit (John 1:12-13). Receiving this gift initiates a lifelong process of discipleship, learning from Jesus and seeking to become like Him (1 Corinthians 11:1). After Jesus’s return, this process will culminate in glorification (Romans 8:18-25).

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, collectively known as the Body of Christ, with Jesus as its head (Colossians 1:17-20). Our duty is to be His ambassadors on Earth, reflecting Jesus to the world as His hands and feet (2 Corinthians 5:11-21). Each believer is a disciple endowed with spiritual gifts to serve the Church and community, contributing to the collective mission of making disciples, engaging in worship, and helping one another grow in Christlikeness (1 Corinthians 12:1-31 ).

We believe that, in His own time and way, God will bring the world to its appropriate end, with Jesus Christ returning personally and visibly as the triumphant king (Acts 1:7-11). The dead will be raised, and Christ will judge all people (Revelation 20:10-15). Those who have rejected Christ will be consigned to Hell, while those who have been saved will live in perfect relationship with the Lord forever in the New Creation (Matthew 25:31-46).
