Our Beliefs
Creekside Community Church is a family of imperfect people striving to follow Jesus through the revelation found in God’s Word, the Holy Bible. Within the Bible, we find some tenets that are very clear and essential to the Christian faith, while others are open to interpretation and may vary among believers. We recognize that our members may not agree on these secondary matters but must fully agree on the primary matters central to Christianity. Therefore, our Statement of Faith is divided into two parts: essentials that all Christians should agree on, and distinctives that mark our specific Church's beliefs. In this we are guided by the principle, "In essentials, unity; in non - essentials, liberty; in all things, charity” (Augustine of Hippo) .
Essentials
The following represent core truths that are foundational to the Christian faith and are beliefs that all Christians should affirm.
Practices and Distinctives
While practices can vary among different Christians and churches, the following reflects our church’s convictions on how to best live out our faith based on Scripture.
