Who We Are

Creekside isn’t a perfect church. We’re a community of messed-up, broken people who come from a variety of life experiences and stages of life—but we share one thing in common: Jesus. 

Being a Christian doesn’t mean we’re instantly perfect; it means we recognize our need for Jesus, are learning from Him, and are seeking to become like Him by the power of the Holy Spirit. We’re all works in progress, embracing the ongoing transformation that comes from following Jesus together. 

If you’re imperfect too, you’ll fit right in.

Where We Come From  

Creekside Community Church started in 1998 as a small group with big faith, supported by Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church and the Mile High Baptist Association. For over a decade, we met in different locations around Elizabeth, trusting God to provide. In 2010, we moved into our permanent building—a space that continues to serve as a hub for worship, community, and growth. Our story is one of God’s faithfulness, and we’re excited to see how He’ll continue to work through Creekside.

Where We're Headed  

In a world where loneliness is on the rise, we see a unique challenge in Elbert County, where people often move for space and privacy—only to find themselves more isolated. At Creekside, we want to change that by being a church known for building genuine community and being for our community.

Our goal is to help people take their next step with Jesus, wherever they are in their faith journey. We envision baby Christians growing deeper in their commitment, lonely people finding connection in groups, and a congregation actively serving—both inside and outside the church. We’re becoming a church where more people are engaged than sitting on the sidelines, bringing God’s love to life through action.
